Lesson Plan

Treating shoulder dysfunction can be a daunting task, but doesn’t need to be. This course outlines a systematic approach along the Kime continuum teaching you how to progress an individual from pain to performance. You will learn various assessments that will guide your intervention selection as well as many progressions and regressions for the upper quarter. At the conclusion of the course you will feel confident in your ability to effectively reach your patients’ goals!

Objectives:

  1. Develop respect for the biomechanics, joint contributions, myofascial layerings that influence upper quarter performance and health.
  2. Demonstrate ability to perform baseline assessments for necessary movement quality and local tissue capacity prior to implementing appropriate upper quarter interventions.
  3. Develop proficiency implementing exercise progressions and regressions along the Kime rehabilitation to performance continuum.
