“95 Days in the Bubble, How the Las Vegas Aces Not Only Survived, but Thrived Making it to the WNBA Finals Using High Frequency Energy” This webinar is geared towards the Sport Medicine Specialist, in particular physical therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, and massage therapists, who are interested in learning about cutting-edge treatments using High Frequency Energy (also known as TECAR).  The presentation will include experiences from the 2020 WNBA BUBBLE Season in Bradenton, Florida. Las Vegas Aces Medical Director Laura Ramus will demonstrate how Winback’s High Frequency Therapy can be used in recovery programs, ankle sprain rehabilitation and knee cartilage injury rehabilitation. Laura Ramus, PT Laura Ramus, PT

Laura Ramus, PT, LAT, ATC. Laura received a BS in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan in 1987. She then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine through the University of North Carolina and Health South Rehabilitation Corporation, receiving her certification as an Athletic Trainer in 1990. During this fellowship Laura trained under prominent orthopedic surgeons Dr. James Andrews and Dr. William Clancy and well known physical therapist Kevin Wilk in Birmingham Alabama. Laura has 33 years of experience treating orthopedic / sports medicine injuries in professional, collegiate, high school and amateur athletes. Laura was an Athletic Trainer the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the 1994 United States Paralympic swim team. She worked 2015/2016 as a Physical Therapist / Athletic Trainer on the Women’s Professional Tennis tour. She served as the Head Athletic Trainer and Strength Coach for 19 Seasons with the WNBA Detroit Shock, New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces. She is currently the Medical Director for the WNBA Las Vegas Aces and Physical Therapist for the Detroit Medical Center Sports Medicine Institute. Laura teaches advanced Sports Medicine techniques to other sports medicine professionals around the world.
