Lesson Plan

It is well understood that the core of the body is an essential component to the optimal performance in elite level athletes. Unfortunately, many athletes do not understand the true function and action of the core during sport. During this webinar Dr. Lewis Lupowitz will help to bridge the gap by discussing a systematic treatment progression to developing and training a core that can handle the demands of life or sport.

Objectives:

  • Review the anatomy and function for the core.
  • Recognize common pathology associated with core dysfunction.
  • Demonstrate a functional assessment
  • Develop a criterion-based treatment approach to training a core.
  • Review what’s new in the world of core training, an overview of advanced training techniques.
