Course Description:
Cognitive training focuses on how fast and accurately your brain processes information. This differs from mental training which focuses on how you manage your mindset, emotions, and motivation. Thus, to sharpen our brain’s cognitive function, we use visual and cognitive training to more accurately perceive and quickly respond to our environment. The information provided in this presentation shows the visual and cognitive information processing loop and breaks down the sub-processes of human vision and cognition. This can be explained with see, decide, execute or input-process-output or see, think, and do.

About the Presenter:
Tiffany Frankovich
Tiffany Frankovich is the CEO of Senaptec, Inc, with over 20 years of experience in technology and innovation. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, a Master in Business Administration, and is currently a doctoral candidate of Business Administration with a focus on innovation. Additionally, she has been a part-time professor at Portland Community College for almost 10 years, teaching a variety of business and technology courses. Tiffany also spent five years as a professional long-distance runner where she experienced and learned about the benefits of having high-level, holistic care, from a variety of medical professionals. She uses her passion of engineering and health and wellness to provide education and technology through her position as CEO of Senaptec, Inc, a vision and cognitive optimization company.
