Lower Extremity Manipulation
This one-hour lecture will introduce you to lower extremity manipulation. We will start with a review of joint anatomy of the lower extremity, with discussion on conditions that may warrant care to the lower extremity, including contraindications and need for co-management. This will be followed by joint specific indications for manipulation to the hip, knee, foot, and ankle. This lecture will help broaden your practice to include treatment to joints of the lower extremity with safe and effective methods.

About the Presenter
Dr. Kelly Lange
Kelly Lange, DC, CCSP® ICSC: Dr. Lange is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® and former President of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council. A2004 summa cum laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, she started her sports med training as a student athletic trainer at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. She is the Medical Director for the Pine to Palm 100-mile Endurance Race since its inception in 2010. She has also worked with elite runners at Olympic Trials, the World Athletic Championships, and with USATF at the PanAm U20 Games. Her practice focus is an evidence-informed approach that specializes in lower extremity care and foot health. Her niche is the ultrarunning and endurance athlete crowd with a passion for integrative and functional approaches to care, utilizing movement therapy for all patients to help them reach their personal and athletic goals. Dr. Lange lives in trail running mecca Ashland, Oregon with her partner and two daughters.
