Does your nutrition in early formative years influence your health for years to come? Your nutrition from conception to age 2 can have profound implications for risk of a multitude of disorders including diabetes and obesity. It can also “program” the brain for lifelong nutritional and eating habits.

Upon completion of this course, you will have a greater understanding of:

  • Why is early nutrition important over the course of a lifetime?
  • What can parents to be do pre-conception, during pregnancy, and post partum to optimize their child’s nutrition?
  • What foods are best to introduce to young children rather than traditional rice cereals?

Kristina Campione, DC Kristina Campione, DC

Kristina Campione is a board certified Chiropractic Physician, having graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in 2010. She also holds a Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University which was completed in 2018 and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She specializes in rehabilitation and movement dysfunction as well clinical nutrition. She utilizes a blend of chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercise, supplementation, herbal medicine and nutrition counseling to treat musculoskeletal ailments, inflammation and other systemic dysfunction. She holds a certification for FMT I & II in RockTape and has studied both Active Release Technique and Kinesio Taping. She has a passion for promoting nutritious, sustainable dietary and farming practices. Kristina is also a Lecturer at National University of Health Sciences and an adjunct faculty instructor of anatomy at a local community college in Illinois. She is a former competitive D1 gymnast and pole vaulter and perhaps most importantly mommy to two adorable children.
